MoMo DC Focuses on the Role of Mobile in the 2008 Elections

MoMo DC looks at how the obama campaign is making the most of mobile - and what's next for mobile politics.
Mobile Monday DC (www.mobilemonday-dc.com), the local chapter of a global movement of technology professionals, announces its September event, which will look at the use of mobile technology by Senator Obama’s presidential campaign – and the broader promise of the mobile channel in campaigns and elections. The event will feature a presentation by Kevin Bertram, CEO of DC-based Distributive Networks, which is powering the campaign’s mobile outreach program.
PS 7 is offering drink specials throughout the evening to MoMo attendees who display their name tags.

Kevin Bertram, CEO of Distributive Networks, will discuss the success factors for launching a mobile strategy in the competitive presidential landscape, and the outlook for the role of mobile in the broader political/advocacy arena.
