Distributive Networks Selected for Washington Business Journal's 2008 "Best Places to Work" Award
June 13, 2008
WASHINGTON, DC - Mobile content and platform provider Distributive Networks today announced that it has been recognized
by the Washington Business Journal for its 2008 "Best Places to Work" award. Distributive Networks CEO
Kevin Bertram and President Jeff Lee accepted the award today at the annual awards breakfast.
Distributive Networks was named to list of the top ten small companies in the Greater Washington area. The
Washington Business Journal's "Best Places to Work Awards" were developed to recognize local company
achievements in creating a positive work environment that attracts and retains employees through a combination
of employee satisfaction, working conditions and company culture. From a pool of hundreds of submissions, the
winners were selected based on results of quantitative employee surveys complied by Quantum Market Research and
were ranked according to four categories: small, medium and large sized companies with offices in the Greater
Washington area.
"In such a competitive labor market, it is a true honor to be recognized by the Washignton Business Journal as
one of the Top 10 small employers in the D.C. area," remarked Kevin Bertram, CEO of Distributive Networks. "Our
efforts to attract, motivate and retain employees are rewarded many times over by the extraordinary contributions
made by our staff every day; it is a privilege to work alongside them."
Distributive Networks earned greater than 90% favorable ratings in every dimension included in the survey, with
especially high marks for the company's "People Practices," team effectiveness, alignment of individual roles with
company goals, trust with coworkers and senior leaders, and confirmation of employees' value. The company was also
recognized for its high retention rate and innovative employee benefits.
